Safari Overview

Experience the Kruger National Park in this incredible tented safari package. Situated in the Pretoriuskop camp, on the fence line you will find the Tented Adventures Safari Camp.

Safari tents have private decks off the front that face the park fence, where you can spend your time reading a book or just enjoy the view. You can even see elephants pass by your lodging. The camp has an authentic tented accommodation — eight raised canvas tents complete with hotel-grade twin beds, mosquito nets, fans for summer and electric blankets for winter.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival
Our professional Driver/Guide will pick you up in Johannesburg in an air-conditioned vehicle and transfer you via the scenic Panorama Route to Kruger Park. En-route we will visit Pilgrim’s Rest, God’s Window and the Graskop Falls. We will arrive at Tented Adventures (or similar) in the afternoon where you will have time to check-in and freshen up before we depart on a game drive in the Kruger National Park.

You will depart on either an afternoon game drive or a sunset game drive (where you will get your first experience on an open 4X4 Safari vehicle.) The late afternoon offers the lower light game viewing with most animals heading down to the watering holes and offers excellent game viewing opportunities. (please note the sunset drive is subject to availability)

Day 2: Kruger
Your professional field guide will advise you of your pick-up time for this morning. You will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning on your full day game drive in an open 4X4 safari vehicle.

We will enter Kruger National Park and enjoy a full day game drive on this day. We will stop several times during the day for you to freshen up and to stretch your legs. Your Professional Field Guide will ensure that you see the wildlife Kruger Park is renowned for and give you interesting facts and information on all aspects of the African Bush and Wildlife. (With a bit of luck, you will be able to add the Big Five to your “spotting-list”)

We will enjoy breakfast at one of the Kruger Park Camps (packed by the lodge). We will also visit the Skukuza Main Camp of the Kruger Park.

Day 3: Departure
We will once again collect you for an early morning game drive to try and find the elusive animals that you might have missed on your previous drives.

After your Early Morning Game Drive, we will return to the lodge. Once you have checked out your professional Driver/Guide will be waiting to transfer you back to Johannesburg in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle
